I'm Lynette Simpson and it's quite exciting to join the team at WE.
I am a wife to Dennis and mother to Grace, Fredrick, Lisa and Willie and Grandmother to the cutest little boy in the world, Josua.
I am Fijian, born and raised in the capital Suva, but ancestors from Taveuni, Rewa and the Lau Group.
I obtained my Bachelors in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of the South Pacific and my Masters in Professional Accounting from AUT in 2017.
My career spans from being a Bank Teller, Lecturer at Polytech. (then Fiji Institute of Technology) and an Auditor and Audit Manager at the Office of the Auditor General in Fiji. In NZ I worked for a non-profit organisation as the Accounts and Funding Administrator and also run a small family owned business as a side hustle. I am also a Tax Agent with Inland Revenue.
I have a heart for Pacific Island businesses, especially start ups where I guide them around finances and provide them with business tips.
I look forward to meeting up with you all and working collaboratively to progress the vision and goals of WE Mana.
