Introducing

Rhys Faasau

Team Leader

Talofa lava,

My name is Rhys Fa’asau, I hail from the villages of Moataa (father) and Alamagoto and Safotu (mother).

I attend the Samoa Worship Centre, I am 20 years young and simple Samoan boy chasing a dream of becoming the best Chartered Accountant that I can be. I am currently working at WE Accounting Samoa as a junior accountant.

I am currently completing my last year towards the degree of  Bachelor of Commerce at the National University of Samoa. I truly believe Accounting is my passion which is why I chose to pursue this career path with WE Accounting. I chose WE firstly because I needed a job to help my family and secondly because this firm is aiming to do so much for our people and the people of the pacific and I want to be a part of that. I also chose WE because I believe this is the place that can help me achieve my goals and expand my knowledge of Accounting.

I wish to gain as much experience in this field and to expand my knowledge in accounting. I enjoy working together with a group of reliable, at the same time fun individuals. My goal by the end of this year is to know how to handle and do any WE or MMH account that is given to me by heart and learn all the processes needed to do my job effectively.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family here at Moata’a helping my parents out with whatever they need. I enjoy participating in all different kinds of sports, particularly rugby, touch rugby, soccer and volleyball.

My dream is simple, to become successful in the job that I love so I can provide and give back to my family and live a happy and simple life.  I am just a kid with a passion in accounting willing to learn and work hard to bring success to the firm. I work well with any age group and I believe myself to be a fast learner. I aim to put all that I have learned in my studies to help WE Accounting become the best outsourcing firm in the pacific.

Faafetai Lava.
