A village is fundamentally a community. And while a Village is predominantly a Māori and Pacific structure, the Nesian Network welcomes all like-minded people to join our village, build relationships and collaborate.
The Nesian Network was born pre-covid out of a desire by Indy and Stanley to create a Business Community that lived the principles of Māori & Pacific cultures. Where you are welcomed into our community with open arms no matter where you are from or what culture you identify with.
After the covid lockdowns the Nesian Network was almost closed. However, after a LinkedIn video by Stanley; Wyndi and Eli decided that WE Mana could pick up the reigns and keep the village growing! And so they have!
Why join the Nesian Network?
1. No Awkward entrance!
When people walk into our events we do our best to greet them multiple times on their way in to make sure they feel welcome and have a place. We don’t want people arriving and feeling lost. We want them to feel as they have walked into the home of their whānau.
2. Make new connections.
When you come to our events we make you interact with other people, no more standing in the corner with the same mates you always hang with. As well as that, our online community opens up global connections.
3. Give back to community.
Because we are a charitable trust, your koha / donation gives back to community initiatives WE Connect supports.

The Vision
Our vision for The Nesian Network is to create a global village. We aim to bring together Māori and Pacific owned businesses around the world, embracing the rich culture of our communities & celebrating innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise.
The Connect - Charitable Trust
The Nesian Network sits under WE Mana’s Charitable Trust, WE Connect. For each networking event we ask for a koha and provide you with a donation receipt that can be claimed at tax time.
WE Connect is about connecting people. We thought this was the perfect place for the Nesian Network to sit.
