Businesses have been impacted to some extent by the current economic climate. Even bigger businesses are struggling at the moment and we've seen some of those enter into voluntary liquidation. We want to ensure our clients' businesses get through this time as strongly as possible. That is why we covered off 'Raising Capital' in our cashflow webinar series.
In this webinar we discuss "Raising Capital"
Raising Capital can feel a bit overwhelming... how much will you have to give up, what is the process, how do you know what method is best?
There are three primary methods to finance your business:
1. Utilize your personal funds, a process often referred to as bootstrapping.
2. Procure loans, for instance, from a banking institution.
3. Attract investors who will provide funds in exchange for a share in your business, commonly known as equity capital. This can involve crowdfunding platforms and individual investors.
We decided to pull together some of the experts who talk about these three methods in raising funds in NZ and the Pacific.
